Free Sewing Patterns

There is a wealth of free sewing patterns on the Internet – if you know where to look.

Here are the ones I have found, and want to try, all in one place. I will update as needed, and will blog all my makes (if they are worth blogging….)

Tessuti have four free patterns, and I have downloaded both ‘Our fave top’ and the ‘Mandy Boat Tee’. I am quite excited to try them out!

So Zo What Do You Know; cute patterns for knickers and a vest.

Sew News; a lovely free pyjama pattern that I am very tempted to try out and a blouse with some airy fairy sleeves.

Selfish Seamstress; Beautiful self drafted patterns here; I am also tempted to try my hand at The Audrey Dress. Someday. Maybe.

Melly Sews; sign up to her free newsletter and you get a free pattern every Friday! I have just downloaded the boxer short pattern, as I do enjoy having nice comfy things to wear to bed. I have also downloaded the peasant blouse

Pattern Runway; they have published a free skirt pattern (which looks very much like the pattern I used to make my first ever skirt).

Lekela; Just add in your measurements, and the genies will send you the right pattern! I am tempted to make the tunic top, as I like to wear leggings a lot.

Vera Venus; lots of nice things here, including a kimono/cardigan pattern, which could be nice!

Your Style Rocks; If I figure out why it is called a paper bag dress, I may have a go!

Deer and Doe; I have downloaded the Plantain pattern, we will see if it sews up well (at some point)

Colette; My sorbetto pattern is cut up and ready to be matched with some fabric! Watch this space!
