I love entering competitions, but I what I love most of all is winning them!
I have searched high and low for all competitions to do with sewing, and my favourite go to website is this one. It lists all the giveaways that the lady has found for the week.
This page will be a showcase of my winnings.
I won one yard of Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Feather River, KNIT, Bobbers Orange from Fabric Worm, by entering a competition by the blog Pretty Prudent. They have a Fabric Friday every week where you can win some fabric (Obviously). By winning this, I saved $16.50, plus a minimum of $23.95 shipping!
Thanks to entering a giveaway over at Delia Creates, I won a $25 gift card to Fat Quarter Shop! I have only just ordered my prize, and after much deliberation, settled for 2.5 yards of Michael Miller Spring Cotton Couture Solid Yardage. At the time, it was less expensive, and my total order including postage was $23.98.
This morning I received an email from Pandora Sews Plus Size Clothes, telling me that I had won her Friday Funday Vintage Fabric Giveaway !! This is so exciting, because as you can see, the fabric is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! I am not 100% sure what I am going to make with it, but I do know that it will look fantastic.
Today I received in the post, this amazing package from The Fabric Fox. I entered a facebook competition to win a fat quarter bundle of fabric from their autumn collection. It is honestly so cute! I saved £22.10 by winning this, and I am so excited to sew something!
This evening I received an email telling me that I won another giveaway! (What a lovely email to receive!) This one was from She Can Quilt, and is her very own fat quarter bundle from Fabric Spark. It is absolutely beautiful and I am so pleased I won! In the shop, it costs 42.99 Canadian dollars and 50 (FIFTY!!) for postage. This makes me even happier that I was lucky enough to be picked!
While walking back from uni I absent-mindedly checked my emails and realised that I had won yet another giveaway! This time, I won a Fancy Tiger Crafts sewing pattern, from the blog Make Something. It is the PDF version, which would have cost me $16, so I am very pleased!
I won a giveaway hosted by Art Gallery Fabrics. I received a Prisma Elements bundle which is adorable (and would have cost me $10 a yard… yay for winning!)
