Christmas presents continued

So I didn’t manage to post yesterday, but as we are experiencing delays getting onto the shuttle, I have decided to try my hand at mobile blogging. So far I have mistyped a word in every single sentence, or more, this will take some getting used to!

Anyhow. I received two more sewing books; Gertie’s book of sewing (sportswear version) and a Colette book. I am determined to make things work between us in the new year!

My sister and my mama opened their presents so I can now officially blog about my December makes!

Pouch number two, made from a 25p zipper and fabric that I won (the pretty leaf one is from The Fabric Fox, they do such cute patterns awh!).
These two were for my mum, who asked me to make pouches she could put teaching resources in for her work.

The third bit of Christmas sewing I did was for my sister and I am not sure what she will use it for, but it is pretty cute even if I do say so myself.

(Ooh blurry, I didn’t realise!) One of the issues I had while trimming excess material, I snipped into the lining. In order to hide this, I proceeded to sew a ribbon onto the seams, which worked pretty well. But not on the hugely snipped into part.

Ah well, you win some, you lose some….
